DIY Winter Anti-Stress Bath Soak Recipe

One a cold day, there is nothing better than washing the day's stressors off with a little R&R in the bathtub.   If you're smiling, I know you're hearing me loud and clear. My four year old daughter, Madeline, and I still love to take baths together, but sometimes I need a bath for just me. Traditional bath salts are bit heavy for young kids. And making bath salts is a lot easier and cheaper than you can imagine. As you may know, I'm an essential oil geek so I've got them laying around the house everywhere. So making my own bath salts with oils is easy peasy. There are tons of bath salts out there that just don't measure up. They may say aromatherapy benefits on the bottle or jar but the quality of the essential oils is way below par. I like to know what I am getting from the oils I choose. Here is my favorite fall anti-stress soak bath salt recipe: 552436_f520 What You Need: 4 cups epsom salts 2 cups coarse sea salt 5 drops peppermint essential oil 5 drops lavender essential oil 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil How To Make It: Mix the epsom salts and sea salts together. Stir in the essential oils. Pour 1 cup into your bath. I have just given you a great recipe for bath salts. Do you like to relax in the bath? If so, do you use any salts or oils to enhance your experience? I would love to hear from you, please leave your comments in the box below. If you like this recipe, share it with others. Post it on FB, Pinterest or Tweet it. XO, Hayley   P.S. I use essential oils for their therapeutic properties. Did you know essential oils are 50-70 times stronger and therefore, in this case, more therapeutic than the actual flower or plant? Crazy pants! Lavender Essential Oil: balances emotions, skin and health. Peppermint Essential Oil: aids digestion, muscle, bone, nervous system and skin health. Eucalyptus Essential Oil: promotes respiratory and skin health. If you want to know where I get my essential oils, cause you know I ONLY use the very BEST, click HERE
