Rawlicious Tacos

I love raw food. Can you tell? Raw is Real I can't get enough of eating healthy delicious foods. Mexican is one of my faves. And with that said, lettuce wrap tacos ROCK. For all of you Mexican food lovers out there who like raw, here is a fabulous recipe you will devour, lick your fingers and even ask for more.

What You'll Need:
1 bunch of collard greens, butter lettuce or romaine (whatever you prefer) washed thoroughly and dry in a salad spinner
1/4 cup raw almonds
1 1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp chili powder
3 Tbsp olive oil
1/8 tsp minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
tomatoes
avocado
cucumber
cilantro
2 drops lime essential oil
2 drops cilantro essential oil
What You Need To Do:
1). Process the nuts until finely grounded in a food processor
2). In a separate bowl mix in the oil, garlic, spices, and essential oils with the salt and pepper to taste then add to the nuts and process again until smooth.
3). Use the lettuce of your choice as a taco shell placing the nut mix in the center and the tomato, avocado, cucumber and cilantro on top.

P. S.  The reason I use Essential oils in my recipes is because they have amazing holistic properties: Lemon oil: Infamous for it's cleansing properties.  It is also extremely refreshing and it can elevate your mood.
