It should come as no surprise that I’m UBER passionate about anti-aging.
The thing is…
Anti-aging isn’t just about the physical.
It’s about how we show up daily… our mindset… our attitudes…
It’s about who we surround ourselves with… what we consume media wise…
Whether we’re open to new things – even if they seem foreign to us at the start.
And so much more.
Today we’re gonna get into some of my fav anti-aging hacks.
Which we’ll bucket into 3 categories:
- And physical.
And speaking of physical… that’s where most of us PREFER to begin.
‘Cause it feels like the easiest.
And most immediate.
And we actually notice it. Physically. On the outside.
Which is why if you’re looking for a no-brainer jump start…

Let’s get into anti-aging lifestyle habits.
If you follow me online, you likely know I work out on a daily basis.
It’s part of my morning routine – and literally how I stay sane.
I’m not really a traditional gym girl… BOOORRRRINNNNNG… LOL
I prefer my Peloton, or hitting a class, like F45 (which is a functional fitness studio)... or pilates or yoga.
I work out at least 6 days a week so I can be at my best mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Along with this, I follow a particular diet lifestyle that works with my unique body makeup: intermittent fasting.
I follow the 16/8 plan, which is 16 hours of fasting and an 8-hour window to eat.
Intermittent fasting boosts longevity because it gives the gut time to clean, detox, and rest effectively.
This practice has also been shown to fight inflammation, improve memory, and balance weight.
Plus, because I have a twisted digestive system – no, for reals, it’s legit all twerked up inside my body, unlike most people…
Intermittent fasting actually helps give my digestive system a chance to rest. Rather than constantly working on digesting.
And for me, that’s meant, also keeping at bay the massive stomachaches I had every day of my life growing up.
I also follow a plant-based diet.
I’ve been vegetarian since I was 12.
And I switched to vegan well over a decade ago to address those digestive issues I had my entire life.
Plus, a plant-based lifestyle gives me more energy and I feel good in my heart about minimizing my impact on the planet.
Now while these are the hacks that work for me…
You get to create what YOUR ideal anti-aging lifestyle looks like.
Being open to trying new things… listening to your body… like I did.
And making conscious choices are all part of an optimal anti-aging lifestyle practice.
Which essentially comes down to mindset – and hey! That’s our next hack for today.
I’ve always believed that mindset is EV-ER-Y-THING.
And the one I always keep is, I’m not “too old” to figure something out.
I never want to say “I’m too old” to:
- Wear something.
- Go somewhere.
- Use social media.
- Or listen to that music – like BTS which my daughter loves.
BT dubs, I’m 100% convinced part of the reason I don’t look or act my age is partly due to hanging out with my daughter, Madeline, who is a fellow Gen Zer. LOL.
I often ask her about the latest trends, including fashion. And especially when it comes to TikToks and Reels.
She’s incredibly in-the-know and talented!
I’ll get her input, not only on fashion, but language, and pop culture… and everything else Gen Z is obsessed with.
Like calling everyone “bruh” – yeah, she calls me “bruh” instead of “mom”. LOL
Or “preppy”. Did you know that does not mean pastel collared Ralph Lauren shirts any more?
I swear that hanging out with 13-year-olds helps keep me young.
And so does self-improvement.
I’m a huge believer in self-improvement.
Whether that’s following an anti-aging regimen, optimizing my biz, or investing in coaching, mentorship, and leadership.
I find it’s incredibly important to surround yourself with people committed to an “I can” or “how can I?” attitude, rather than an “I can’t” or an “I don’t” perspective.
Until you invest in yourself and your own potential, chances are you’ll stay right where you are.
And there’s no real growth there.
I’ve also found it helpful to practice that “I can” or “how can I?” mindset with daily intentions.
I start each day with an intention.
Whether that’s to be present, practice patience, or be productive AF.
It changes daily, weekly, or monthly depending upon the season I’m in or the goals I’m working toward.
If you don’t practice this yet, I totally recommend starting each day with a meaningful intention.
And BT dubs, I use intentions as a lens through which all ideas, decisions, and actions are filtered.
If something doesn’t align with the intention, I get to shift my approach until it does or find a new approach entirely.
Practicing this has kept me activated, intentional, and inspired – AKA youthful AF. LOL
So I wanna encourage you to do this too.
If you feel stuck in a job, a relationship, a friendship, a location, or whatever…
Be brave and ask yourself what you truly want.
Find out what lights you up.
What makes you happy.
And take steps to go after it.
Carrying around that heaviness and unhappiness leads to premature aging.
It shows up in your skin… your vibe… your body… all the way down to your cells.
So if you're feeling like that and don’t know why, you may be out of alignment with your intentions.
But when you’re full of light and joy, you bring light and joy to others.
Which is the ultimate anti-aging hack.
Now, let’s get physical.
Which is still a bomb ass song if ya ask me. LOL
One of the first places you begin to show your age is your skin.
Especially your face.
AND especially if you neglected sunscreen when you were younger.
Sun damage is no joke. And it can age you 20+ years if you don’t actively work to reverse the damage at a cellular level.
I am MILITANT about my skincare routine.
In fact, I have an 8-step routine I do each morning and night.
Which legit only takes about 5 minutes.
I start by washing my face with the cleanser that comes in the doTERRA Essential Skin Care Kit.
Then I use a pore-reducing toner, which helps tighten, tone, and smooth the skin.
And you can’t forget the anti-aging eye cream – which I swear everyone needs to start using at like 12 or 13 these days just with how toxic our environments are now.
I follow that up with the Immortelle anti-aging serum and anti-aging oil blend…
Which are super potent with high quality, all-natural ingredients that are super hydrating, plump the skin, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
