How to Be a "Soul Fuel" Biz Owner and Live Your Passions

You may have heard the question before…”Would you talk to your best friend the way you talk to yourself?”

Seriously, we can be reeeeaallllly hard on ourselves.

Some of the things we say in our heads is downright mean!

“You’re fat.”

“You’re going to mess up this project.”

“You’re not good enough to make it.”

“It’s all your fault.”

We would NEVER EVER say that shiz to our friend or loved one, so why are we saying it to ourselves?

Part of consciously creating the life and biz of your dreams is carefully choosing the messages you speak to yourself on a daily basis.

I talk a lot about mindset and a question I get a lot is... How do I change my thoughts?

It starts with catching the negative ones and turning them into affirming and empowering thoughts instead, every day.

Even when life starts chucking lemons in your face, start grabbing them out of the air like a freaking ninja and making the best damn lemonade you’ve ever had.

We all go through hard times, and these are probably the toughest times to stay positive.

But I guarantee if you start practicing when things are good, it’ll be easier to keep telling yourself those positive affirmations when times get tough.

Positive affirmations on the daily will also help you on your entrepreneurial journey and help you reach your highest potential in your biz.

To start the transformation of talking to yourself like you would to your bestie, I want you to take 10 minutes every day to sit down, breathe and say some positive affirmations aloud.

Need some help getting started? Try some of these:

“I am a beautiful person, inside and out.”

“The ability to be happy is within my control.”

“I deserve to love and be loved.”

“My best is enough.”

“I am in charge of my happiness.”

“I have the power to change.”

Taking time to do this every day will help you begin the shift from negative to positive. I do this in the morning and it helps me start my day off right.

This practice will also feed your business and you’ll start seeing the places where there’s an opportunity to inject happiness.

A big part of being happy in your business is making sure you align what you do with your core values.

For some businesses, that’s easier than others but no matter what you do….health coaching, social media management, network marketing...there’s an opportunity to make a difference.

Start by identifying and listening to your core values and write them down.

Then figure out how you can insert them into your biz.

Maybe this means being more patient with a client or friend who’s always holding you up.

Maybe this means being more compassion for a colleague who is going through a tough time.

Maybe this means bringing some inspiration into your social media posts, or some humanity and love into your marketing efforts…

Figure out what this means for you personally and I suspect those good ol’ happy feels will start building...in yourself and others.

Choose Your People Wisely

Another way to help with your positive thought transformation in your life and biz is to surround yourself with positive people.

Friends, coworkers, clients, your biz besties...make sure you’ve got people in your life who build you up and make you smile.

And make sure you’re giving it right back.

I love my team. And something that is super important to us is making each other laugh, especially through the chaotic times.

Again, it’s easy to take this life thang way too seriously, so introducing some play into your work life is so critical.

Same with your clients or colleagues...build them up! Treat them with kindness and respect. Make them laugh.

It all comes back. You know what they say about Karma, right?

When you start putting out the love, I guarantee you’ll start feeling it back.

Especially with yourself.

Start becoming your own best friend today and see how it changes your life and biz.
