The Most Powerful Women in Biz Share These 3 Things In Common

When I look around at my closest friends and colleagues, I’m awe-struck.

Because most of these incredible people are badass female powerhouses.

And they’ve done some seriously amazing things.

In March, we celebrated International Women’s Day and it got me thinking about my own journey as a woman in business, the trail blazers who have come before us and the badass biz babes who are out there killing it.

Being a woman in business has not always been easy and we, as a gender, still face challenges on the daily.

But when women come together and share the common goal of supporting and lifting each other up… magical things happen.

At the end of the month, I’m heading to Las Vegas with some of my favorite women to fill up on a powerful kind of energy….

Women coming together to talk about network marketing (my love and my jam!) and building each other up in life and business.

The Most Powerful Women in Network Marketing Event 2019, created by my dear friend Marina Worre, is a chance for us all to get together, get inspired, get educated and get empowered.

Some of my besties who are going to take the stage with me include women like Emily Varva, Whitney Husband, Deni Robinson, Donna Johnson, Marina Worre...and they all have a few things in common.

Like, check this out…

Emily Varva, co-founder at Vision Cast and executive at Isagenix, started her network marketing biz when she was just 23 years old. Twenty-friggin-three!!

Denice Chenault has been in the network marketing business for over 20 years. She was an inaugural inductee into the GoPro Million Dollar Earner Hall of Fame and she travels all over the world helping women attract, build and lead successful teams.

Deni Robinson also has over 20 years of experience in direct sales and relationship marketing and is super passionate about health, wellness and making a difference.

These women are all OVERFLOWING with passion, have worked their butts off, are determined AF and are tough as nails.

When it comes down to their success, these common traits have allowed them to pave the way for their fellow femtrepreneurs.

Let’s talk about passion…

Something all these women possess is fiery passion for what they do.

They’ve put in the long hours, the blood, sweat and tears...because they are doing the work they were meant to do.

They have found work that fully resonates with who they are and what they believe.

And they’ve built up the skills to make it happen.

That kind of match made in heaven shiz does not come without a ton of soul-searching, passion for the work and the drive to succeed.

You may still be on the path to finding a way to start a business or make a living that’s right for you, your dreams, and your skill set.

And that’s a-okay.

The most important thing is to truly believe this is possible for yourself! And once you find it, go after it with your entire heart and soul.

Feel the passion, do the work and attack life with an abundance mindset.

You CAN have it all. You CAN live your dream. You CAN make a difference in the world.

But….you gotta put in the work

I didn’t get to seven figures lying on beaches and drinking mocktails...although I definitely get to do that on the regular now.

It took years of hard work to build my business, build my target audience, find my niche and find my team.

It doesn’t happen overnight.

With anything, you have to be willing to put in the time.

When I first started out, I didn’t know a thing about Facebook ads, how to convert followers with a blog, Instagram analytics...nada...zip.

I bit the bullet, with the support of my family, and took B-School to gain all the tools I needed to start up my own biz. It was a ton of work and involved a lot of sacrifice but it was definitely #worthit.

And in the words of B-School queen and founder, Marie Forleo (one of the MOST badass women in business out there):

“Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently.”

If you’re still working a 9 to 5 and dreaming of the day you can run your business full time…

OR you’ve already made the leap and are going full speed ahead to entrepreneur town…

Block off time every day to create, learn and expand your knowledge and your skill set.

Read every blog you can find, find mentors who resonate with your values, join a Facebook group.

Never stop learning. The hard work WILL pay off.

Attitude is everything

We all have our own Negative Nancy thoughts in our heads.

The inner critic that beats us down, tell us we’re not worthy of love, money, happiness.

The key to being a powerful woman in business is to realize that the voice is just that...a voice.

It’s not truth, it’s not reality, it’s not you.

It’s time to rise above the noise. It’s time to reality-check your attitude.

It’s time to realize that the power is IN you, you just have to believe in it...nurture it...use it for good.

Being a powerful woman in business isn’t about power suits and driving lamborghinis…

A powerful woman holds space for the people around her, truly listens, opens her heart to failure because she’d rather try and fail than not try at all. She’s humble in her heart and always strives to help as many people as possible

You are a powerful woman.

You got this.
