How to Find Lasting Empowerment and Inspiration as a Woman In Business

I heard a really great story at a yoga retreat.

It was told to us by my friend’s husband. He said:

We come into life with a suitcase. And that suitcase is full. And we have all that we need inside that suitcase, but some people forget to open it.

It gives me tingles down my spine just thinking about it.

We are fully capable; we’re born with all of the tools that we need.

Success is an inside job. We all have what it takes.

He empowered me in that moment to stop making excuses and start looking within for the answers. Isn’t it wild how one little idea can shift your entire perspective?

I’m on a mission to empower my fellow women, momtrepreneurs and soul sisters alike, with perspective shifting ideas that make them believe anything is possible, because it is! This is honestly what I love most about my work.

But what does empowerment even mean?

When you empower someone, you’re giving them POWER, confidence, belief, clarity, and resilience.

I’ve got the power! And so do you.

Don’t just take it from me…

"I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. You've got to go out and kick ass." —Maya Angelou

Thanks Maya.

We are all in this together ladies.

In September, I was honored to be interviewed by a woman who empowers me and so many others -- the one and only Kira Karmazin.

She is the owner and founder of the active wear line, KiraGrace, and she asked me to be a guest on her Empowering Women Series.

It was so fun to sit down and and talk about some of the challenges I’ve overcome and and really dive into the deep end.

She asked me what inspires me.

I responded with two things: belief and hope.

Sounds so simple right? But it’s true.

If you can discover hope and if you truly believe you can reach your goals, you better believe you’re going to start running, instead of hiking, up those mountains and seriously slaying your biz goals.

Whatever you desire CAN really happen. Manifestation isn’t just some woo woo fantasy, it’s real.

Which brings me to another juicy tidbit that came up in our convo— conscious creation.

I started coaching (believe it or not) by coaching myself.

I wasn’t happy with how I was reacting to people — from my business to my husband —  so I started doing some work on myself.

I realized I could choose love over annoyance.

I could choose patience over bitterness.

I could choose how I reacted to my circumstances.

It was amazing to see how my circumstances could stay the same...but how I chose to feel and react to them changed everything!

Once I realized I could make changes within myself, I started using it with my team, my employees...my husband.

I created a Whole New Me and it’s led me to the Whole New You movement.

Consciously create ladies. Slow down, turn off your auto-pilot and be present. When you stop and notice, you can then start to turn your dreams into reality.

We can create the life we want, if we’re present and open to possibility.

Take Kira Karmazin as an example. Seriously, check this woman out. She’s an entrepreneur, fashionista and a single momtrepreneur who runs KiraGrace —  a yoga apparel company like no other.

Their mission is to celebrate women’s beauty, strength and grace and they do it with their clothing...but also by giving back to those in need.

This woman is a force to be reckoned with.

She has a MBA from the University of Michigan and has been behind some of the most successful product lines out there - including Victoria’s Secret and Gap.

Not only is she hella smart...she is beautiful, confident and super selfless.

Those are just some of the reasons I was so happy to sit down with Kira and chat about all things empowerment!

Check out the full interview here to find out more about the challenges I’ve overcome as a female business boss PLUS my go-to cheat meal and fave workout! )

And whenever you can ladies, give props to the women around you.

We’re all worth it.

XO,
Hayley
