3 Ways to Chill
Get ready! Thanksgiving is a week and a half away and life is about to get cray balls. Seriously, with everything going on, the next two months are no joke. I’ve made a list of 3 Ways to Chill before the holiday season grabs you by the back of the neck and shakes you like a snaggle-toothed dog with a rag doll. Decide not to do stress, starting this year.
Self-care is highest on my list of priorities. I know if I don’t take care of myself, my resolve is weakened and stress doesn’t just come knocking – it opens the door and lets itself right in.
If you already have a self-care regimen in place – exercise, healthy diet, essential oils – stick with it, even as the days get busier.
Make a Plan, Stan.
Get a jump on the holiday season by listing everything that needs to happen between now and the end of the year. Then prioritize.
Are you hosting a December holiday party? To save on stress, get as much done as possible before the week of the party.
Ask For Help
If you’re hosting a gathering, remember that you don’t have to pull things together by yourself. Ask for and accept help so you can join in the fun.
Regardless of what’s going on around you, you’re in charge of your own inner peace. Monitor your thoughts and make sure you think positively.
Remember: A little quiet time is often the best stress buster of all.
