Why Aren’t You Asking For What You Want?

Hey There!

I am still basking in the afterglow of the Blue & Presidential Diamond Summit and then my own annual doTERRA Winter Summit in Boulder. But even thought my mind is reflecting back and loving all the awesomeness, the calendar is still moving forward and I’m already at the next event.

Yep, I’m here in the Dominican Republic for our annual incentive trip, which I won again! I always take a lot of pride in being able to turn so many people onto the yumminess of essential oils.

You may have heard our mission, “Let’s bring a healer into every home.”

I’m leaving here shortly but the whirlwind doesn’t stop. The first couple months of this year are jam-packed with so much fun. And if they are all as fulfilling as the first three so far this year, I’m in for a wild ride.

Anyway, back to my team event for a sec…

I have to thank my husband, Wes, who MCed this spectacular event in Boulder. This athlete-turned-comedian helped me plan and execute what turned out to be a super weekend. Definitely our best Winter Summit to date!

Wes totally rocked the stage. He’s a natural. And I feel so blessed to have him working by my side more often these days.

You know, I also have to admire the commitment of every one of those humans who traveled from afar and showed up to soak in 3 days of education and inspiration. This kind of commitment and quest to learn and be coachable is how successful leaders are born.

I’ll be the first one to say that travel is challenging. I get it. I understand what it feels like to put your life on hold—even for a few days. It’s not easy to leave your home and family.

Between packing, scheduling transportation, and making sure your life is together so nothing falls apart when your gone, planning even a short trip can drive you cray balls.

And none of these people would have been in Boulder with us if they had not leaned on someone (or maybe many) for help. So, my point is, if you’re not out there making things happen because you’re using the excuse that you have to do it all by yourself, I’m here to ask you to reconsider.

Now I know some of you are going to give me the excuse you don’t have anyone to lean on. Family isn’t close. Or maybe there isn’t any family. You don’t have the kind of friends who you can lean on.

Trust me, I’ve heard it all.

I’m going to come back to you with “WHY in the world would you choose to have those thoughts?”
Come on. New story please.

Change your thoughts, change your life. Ask for help. There really ARE people that want to be there for you. You just have to be a little vulnerable and ask.

On Wednesday I’m going to share a video on Asking for What You Want. I’m hoping the video will inspire you to choose a new thought download. You might be really surprised by what happens.

XO,
Hayley
